A series of free arts and crafts sessions will take place this autumn and winter to help adults living with anxiety and depression.
Fancy trying something new, or exploring your artistic and creative abilities in a relaxing, fun environment? Merryhue Farm will be holding their next three sessions at South Hill Parish Hall, Golberdon, near Callington, PL17 7ND, just ten minutes from Merryhue Farm with car parking facilities, good disabled access and plenty of space for workshops. Refreshments will also be available and donations will be welcomed.
These sessions are aimed at adults who are living with anxiety and depression, or may have other mental health concerns, who are lonely or socially isolated, or are carers and just need a bit of me-time.
You don't have to attend all of the sessions, and there is flexibility around attendance times. People will need to make their own way to the venue and bring some lunch.
So what do the sessions entail? On Tuesday, 19th October, the session will focus on Japanese woodcut and printing; on Tuesday, 16th November it will be all about glasswork; and Tuesday, 7th December will allow participants to make Christmas cards and decorations. All sessions take place between 12pm and 3pm.
